about the tour guide & awards

Your instructor will be master photographer Tatjana(Tati) Biermas.

She will meet with you at a pre-arranged location and accompany you during the tour. In addition to her hands-on photography instruction, she will introduce you to the Mexican culture as she knows the island for more than 15 years. Tati has a sharp photographic eye, and she will love passing on to you the ability to see the unusual, striking shot from the seemingly ordinary, all with her trademark enthusiasm and good humor.

Tati is an award winning professional photographer who has worked for many years all over the world and has taught photography to students at every level of experience.

The contest was organized by the CIMAC (Conservación, Investigación y Manejo Ambiental de Cozumel)

This photography contest is known as the "Festival de las Aves Toh - Unidos por las Aves" that was organized by: Pronatura Península de Yucatán.
