Using your own camera, Tati´s 2.5 hour hands-on workshop covers the basic and fundamental techniques of digital photography whilst capturing images of the typical Mayan cultural features, neighborhoods, the Mexican flora, colorful street impressions and other quirky points of interest along the way.
Optional is the visit of the museum to improve your photography in low light situations.

Using your own camera, the hands-on photography workshop covers the basic and fundamental techniques of digital photography whilst capturing images of:

• The local market (fruits, fish stands, localism)

• ECO park (lighthouse, lagoons, crocodiles, Mayan temple)

• El Mirador

• Cozumel's wild side (beaches, splashing waves)

After this magnificent tour around the island, you will understand your camera’s capabilities better and applying the photography tips help you to improve your candid, travel and action shots.

Cozumel Photo Tour - Bird Photography Tour

Using your own camera, the hands-on photography workshop covers the basic and fundamental techniques of digital photography whilst capturing images of:

• varieties of parrots,

• roseate spoonbills, herons

• toucans, pelicans, storks

• and many more birds at a sanctuary on the mainland (Yucatan peninsula)

This is a new tour we are offering on demand of our customers.
You will visit a bird sanctuary on the mainland with Tati Biermas - your personal photography coach.
It is a small place but offers lots of opportunities to photograph birds in a natural environment.

The bird photography tour is available all year round - upon reservation.

Duration:
approx. 4 hours (including crossing with the ferry)

$149 US per person including the admission fee for the bird sanctuary and transportation (ferry)

Cozumel Photo Tour - Food and Shoot Tour

This photography tour takes you to several local restaurants, offering varieties of authentic Mexican food samples for you to try. Using your own camera or smartphone your guide Tati will share some great photo tips for better food photography with you.

Food samples (included in the tour price):

Empanadas with chile poblano (“rajas”) and cheese
Tacos with cochinita, lechon and nopal (cactus)
Original fresh Oaxaca cheese
Corn tortillas (fresh from the factory)
Tostada with Shrimp Ceviche
A refreshing juice and/or a chamoyada (frozen mango with chamoy chili sauce)
A handmade chocolate creation out of a selection of 20+ truffles

None of the food samples are spicy…but there are lots of chili sauces to add on at your personal taste. This tour is not for vegetarians…sorry friends!
The local Mexican food includes meat that we are going to taste.

On this tour we also visit the small local market with its fruits, veggies, and fish stands, a tortilla factory and other local family owned restaurants.

After this tasty tour you will return home with a full experience of the local food and some great photos.

Cozumel Photo Tour - Mexican Mayan Experience

Explore the authentic Mexican & Mayan world with your own camera or smartphone on the island Cozumel.

Tati, your bilingual guide offers hands-on photo tips of typical daily life situations while visiting the local market of Cozumel. The small yet colorful area and its friendly people make for great pictures of vendors selling fruits, vegetables, fresh fish and much more.

The second stop is the Mayan village: "El Pueblo del Maiz"
Experience and photograph the prehispanic way of living: tortilla, honey and chocolate production and tasting.
There is feather art, a prehispanic dance show, and much more.
You may even make your own chocolate and/or play the ancient ball game of the Maya.
This park is as interactive as you wish to participate.
